What’s sexier than a glitter gradient nail art? NOTHING!
I absolutely love glitter polish and wanted to go something good for the 17th challenge of the 31 day nail art challenge! As you know I’ve already don’t gradient nails in my earlier challenge, but that was using regular polish. So, if you have even a little knowledge in nail polishes you will know that it almost impossible to do ombre nails using the glitter polish and sponge method. So I’m going to show you another way of doing gradient nails which is equally easy!
Houston we have a purple is from OPI’s Texas collection. OPI is one of the major brands I adore because of the lovely colors they make, the funny names they give to each polish and the eco friendly recyclable nail polish bottles they use! So can we start with OPI Houston we have a purple swatches and review?
If I was asked to name this polish I would call it Freshest cranberry! The color of the polish is less of a purple and more of a cranberry-raspberry color! Its a jelly nail polish. OPI calls it a sorbet polish!
When Vidhi first asked me to write a post for her, I was really excited because this is my first guest post and also writing it for a talented girl like Vidhi makes it all the more special. I don’t think that I can thank her enough for this opportunity. And Oops, I forgot to introduce myself right? Well, here you go:
I am Jaseema, software professional by day and a blogger by night and I am based out of Chennai. I have always had a THING for fashion but UNFORTUNATELY, I could never afford a career in fashion as my parents thought it was a complete waste of time (I don’t blame them, but that’s how all the conservative parents out there think! Those poor souls just don’t understand what a beautiful art it is) So, after sucking up my not-so-good 4 years at Engineering college, I finally decided to give some time to my first LOVE (read FASHION) and voila here I am, writing a post to connect with beautiful people like you!
And if you ask me why FASHION – It is because I have always thought that we Indians are a tad bit behind every other country, when it comes to fashion. I see many people who still have not got past their good old tee and jeans. I took up fashion blogging only to reach out to those common people, to enlighten them on International Fashion, to help them get their dressing choices right and to make every beautiful woman out there more BEAUTIFUL.
So now let’s get started on our post! Shall we? In this post, let’s discuss about styling a staple that ought to be in every woman’s closet-BLAZER! I am sure you must have all seen a blazer as it is common to both men and women! Blazers can never go out of trend as you can see many celebrities including our very own leggy lasses from Bollywood sporting it every other day be it during a promotional event, movie premiere or even while running errands! I don’t think I have to wax on eloquently about this but Ladies, Blazers are definitely a MUST-HAVE in today’s fashion forward world.
But let me also tell you that blazers are quite delicate to style. It can easily make you look tacky when you don’t get your basics right. So, now let’s see some of the do’s and don’ts for styling blazer. Oui?
I’ve seen a lot of hilarious Jabong commercials! Made me wonder what the word Jabong meant?! So I decided to browse through the website and see what products they offered! I eventually ended up buying and here I am writing a Jabong review the very next day!(Yeah! I ordered yesterday and the product is here in my hands today!) Hence, I happily call it one of the best online shopping website in India!
Hey everyone! This day is turning out to be a good one! Started my day with some shopping at Myntra ^_^ Also my nail paint of the day turns out to be the one I purchased in my recent Haul from Flipkart! That’s when I decided to write a Flipkart review!
So I recently won a Rs.1000 Gift Voucher in a giveaway held by Stylebees! Thanks to fellow blogger and friend Swati and her cool blog Stylebees, I did some shopping!
It’s the Indian Independence day on 15th August..Let’s celebrate 66 years of freedom with an Indian flag nail art!
“India was the motherland of our race, and Sanskrit the mother of Europe’s languages: she was the mother of our philosophy; mother, through the Arabs, of much of our mathematics; mother, through the Buddha, of the ideals embodied in Christianity; mother, through the village community, of self-government and democracy. Mother India is in many ways the mother of us all”. -Will Durant, American historian
Every outfit looks even more wonderful with the right pair of footwear! The wrong type of shoes will make you look so wrong in all ways! Hence it’s important to invest in the right pair of footwear. This list of ‘footwear every woman must have’ will help you buy the right pair of shoes the next time you go shopping
There is a lot of variety when it comes to footwear,so choosing the right pair can be a bit confusing! Especially when you have a shoe obsession like me! (I feel teenage love symptoms when I see any type of footwear 😛 )
Tribal Print Nail art (also known as Aztec nail art) is very trendy these days! I was excited when I found out it was the 16th challenge of the 31 day nail art challenge! It is one of the nail arts which looks very difficult to do but is actually very easy! Don’t believe me? Check for yourself!
Challenge 15 of the 31 Day Nail art challenge is to do a delicate print!Raksha Bandhan is coming soon and I wanted to do an easier nail art for it (yes! I’m planning to do a difficult version too :P) So here is my Raksha Bandhan stamping nail art!
This nail art is done using Konad stamping kit It’s so fun!!!!!
My best friend complained that she would love to buy discounted nail polishes online but she’s not sure if the color will be similar to the picture or if it will suit her skin tone! After all, these branded polishes cost a lot and if you are planning to invest you will like to know how each polish looks! Fair enough! Immediately I wanted to start doing nail polish swatches of all my branded polishes to help girls like her to decide with the help of these swatches! I decided to start with Revlon icy violet nail polish swatches and review because I’m using it for my next nail art (lazy! I know!) 😛 Hope you all like my collection
