]]> Ok so I already told you guys that I’m doing the 31 day nail art challenge and the first challenge was to do a nail art using the colour red!The first thing that came to my mind was strawberries but I already did a strawberry nail art for readitt.in , the e-magazine (check it out here) so I decided to do another red fruit,  hence the apple nail art..

31 day Nail Art challenge: Apple Nail Art. 

This nail art was easier than I thought and I was very pleased with the end result *dancing happily* 31 day Nail Art challenge: Apple Nail Art.

 

So here is a tutorial on how you do it, quick and easy!

Things you need:

1. Red nail polish (of course).

2. Black nail polish.

3. Green nail polish

4. White nail polish

5. Toothpick or brush

6. Base coat (optional)

7. Top coat

 

Step One: Apply base coat to protect your natural nails. This will also make your red fruit pop out a bit.

Step Two: Using the red nail polish, draw a heart-shaped curve somewhere in between your nails(see image). Fill in the top of your nail and allow it to dry.

Step Three: Now take some black nail polish on a plate and outline the red hearth shaped curve with the help of a toothpick or brush. Draw a small line from the centre of the curve so that it looks like a stem of the fruit. I did a little curly stem on my ring finger 31 day Nail Art challenge: Apple Nail Art. Allow the polish to dry.

Step Four: Using a toothpick dipped in green polish make a small leaf on the stem.

Step Five: Using a toothpick or brush dipped in white nail polish,do an exclamatory mark(!) on one end of your apple. This will make your apple shine 😛

Step Six: Apply a fast drying top coat to protect your nail art from chipping away!
