31 Day Nail Art Challenge: Cheetah French Tips.

Challenge 13 of the 31 day nail art challenge is to do a nail art with animal print..I previously did a tiger print for the orange challenge, this time I wanted it to be more elegant so I turned to the forever stylish french manicure Just like this cheetah french tips manicure!

It looks so sexy! I got a ton of likes on Instagram as soon as I posted it (yeah! Instagram is my new addiction :P)

Lets get this sexy and easy design started!

Things you need:

1. Base Coat.

2. Peach nail polish.

3. Black nail polish.

4. Toothpick or dotting tool.

5. Top coat.

6. Confidence

Step One: Start by applying base coat to protect your natural nails.

Step Two: Do french tips for all your nail using the peach colored nail polish.

Step Three: Using a toothpick or dotting tool dipped in black nail polish make multiple dots such as to form a ‘C’.

Step Four: Make a few ‘O’s in the same fashion and some random dots to fill empty spaces.

(Keep in mind you have to do step three and four only on the french tips)

Step Five: Give your french tip a black border on your ring finger. (This is optional but I always prefer to keep my ring finger different from the rest)

Step Six: Apply a fast drying top coat to seal in your design.

Step Seven: Flaunt your new nail art with confidence

Products used for this nail art:

1. Ranara base coat.

2. Lakme color crush nail polish 32. (Loving this color!!)

3. Loreal color riche black swan nail polish.

4. Asepta top coat.

31 Day Nail Art Challenge: Cupcake Nail Art.

I know I’ve not been very regular with the 31 day nail art challenge. Have been very busy lately Anyways here’s a nail art for challenge 12!! The challenge was to do a nail art with a stripes pattern. I decided to do this cupcake nail art,which is awesome!

Things you need:

1. Sky blue nail polish.

2. Dark blue nail polish.

3. Striper brush.

4.White nail polish.

5. Top coat.

Lets begin!

Apply base coat to protect your natural nails.

Step One: Apply two coats of sky blue nail polish to all nails except the ring finger and thumb and allow it to dry. Do french tips for the ring finger and thumb.

Step Two: Using a striper brush dipped in dark blue nail polish, do 3-4 vertical lines over the sky blue polish.

Step Three: Using a dotting tool or toothpick dipped in white nail polish make some frosting for your cupcake in the ring finger and thumb. To do this make a rough triangle over your french tip.

Step Four: Make a red cherry at the top of the frosting using a dotting tool dipped in red nail polish. You can also make sprinklers using different colored polishes.

Step Five: Apply a fast drying top coat to each nail to seal the design in!

1. Lakme color crush nail polish 08.

2. Lakme color crush nail polish 03

3. Loreal color riche rebel blue 610.

4. Asepta top coat.

5. Ranara base coat.

Lovely right? I’m happy with this nail art!

31 Day Nail Art Challenge: Metallic wave French Manicure

Today’s challenge is to do a nail art using a metallic polish. Here is a metallic wave french manicure which I feel is very gothic!For this nail art I’ve used the easy nail taping technique but with a twist!

Things you need:

1. Black regular/matte polish.

2. Metallic golden polish.

3. Cello/scotch tape.

4. Wave scissors.

5. Dotting tool/toothpick.

Step One: Apply black regular or matte polish and allow it to dry. I have applied matte polish to the pointer and pinky finger and regular to middle and ring finger, just to give you an idea. You can also make the matte polish at home (READ HERE).

Step Two: Take your wave scissors and cut the cello/scotch tape.

Step Three: Stick the cut tape to the tip of your nail and paint the tip with metallic golden nail polish.

Remove the tape once the polish is dry. Repeat for all nails.

Step Four: Do three dots using a toothpick or dotting tool dipped in golden metallic polish, on one side of the nail.

Step Five: Clean any errors or polish from the cuticle using a cotton bud dipped in nail polish remover.

31 Day Nail Art Challenge: Blue French Tip with Flower Nail Art

New day and a new challenge of the 31 day nail art challenge..today’s challenge is to do a nail art using the colour blue!!Since many days I’m doing nail arts which can be carried on specific occasions with specific clothes only. So today I decided to do a blue french tip with flower nail art which can be worn with most type of clothes..and of course it’s very chic!

Here’s a tutorial to do this beautiful nail art!

Things you need:

1. Blue nail polish.

2. Base coat.

3. White nail polish

4. Black nail polish.

5. Toothpick or dotting tool.

(Apply base coat to all nails to protect your natural nails)

Step One: Do a french tip to all your nails using a blue nail polish. Allow it to dry.

Step Two: Make five dots using a toothpick or dotting tool dipped in white nail polish.(see image)

Step Three: When the dots are still tacky (i.e. not wet yet not too dry) drag a line towards the centre with the help of a toothpick. (This part is similar to the wild flower nail art we did earlier) Do one nail at a time or else the nail polish will dry out.

Step Four: When you are done with step three for all nails, do a small dot at the centre of each flower using a toothpick or dotting tool dipped in black nail polish.

This cute blue french tip with flower nail art is ready!! Try it and flaunt it wherever you go

I did this same nail art in red on my best friends nails! Its looks so gorgeous!! Just love it!
